The ENOC Group announces community programs for the month of Ramadan

To help more than 400,000 less fortunate people throughout the Emirate of Dubai, ENOC Group announced several community activities that reflect the giving spirit that characterizes the Holy Month of Ramadan. The ENOC Group’s annual tradition of humanitarian initiatives, organized in collaboration with local charitable organizations to mark the Holy Month, is in line with its agenda of inclusive development and is intended to foster a sense of solidarity and foster the spirit of compassion among its employees and the communities it serves.

To ensure that those who are waiting at traffic lights can break their fast on time, ENOC Group is teaming up with Al Ihsan Charity Association to give 200,000 iftar food boxes as part of its Ramadan Aman program this year. Along with Dubai, ENOC staff members will distribute iftar boxes in Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain on April 10.

This Ramadan, 50,000 people living in labor camps will get a selection of necessary groceries as part of the Ramadan Grocery Distribution campaign run in partnership with Zoom. The grocery boxes that will be delivered from March 23 to April 5 will be packed by ENOC volunteers.

The ENOC Group will provide 10,000 iftar meals for Ramadan to those in need in Dubai over the final two weeks of the Holy Month through its dependable partner, Beit Al Kheir. Employees of ENOC will volunteer their services and assist with daily distribution in the Emirate’s labor camps. In addition, ENOC and Beit Al Khair are working together to donate 1,000 gas cylinders from Emirates Gas to deserving families and individuals. With the help of the same partner, the community will also be able to donate for Iftar Saa’em (AED10), Zakat El Fitr (AED20), and Kiswat Eid (AED50) at all ENOC service stations. This year, the charity drive will also use a QR code to solicit donations from users of social media.

The Honorable “The Holy Month of Ramadan is a time of sharing, giving, and being compassionate,” stated Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC. By providing chances for donating and volunteering, ENOC, as a socially conscious organization, hopes to unite communities in the genuine spirit of Ramadan and strengthen communal values. The Holy Month of Ramadan is the perfect time to reaffirm our dedication to the community, and the programs we’ve launched in association with several partners will significantly improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people all around the United Arab Emirates.

The ENOC Malabes project allows staff members to contribute both new and worn clothing. The used and old clothing will be recycled, with the earnings going to aid people in need, while the new clothing will be provided following sanitization. ENOC Group will work with the Emirates Red Crescent to distribute clothing to 500 refugee families and children who are in need.

Elderly Emiratis will enjoy food and entertainment at a Ramadan event for seniors, while ENOC will distribute date boxes at its retail locations throughout Ramadan in partnership with Alokozay.

Along with other projects, ENOC is supporting the Fuhood Zabeel volleyball squad in the NAS 2023 Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament.

As part of a collaboration with Al Noor Rehabilitation and Welfare Association for People of Determination, a group of ENOC volunteers will teach kids at the nonprofit organization how to make misbaha, or prayer beads. During the iftar distribution program, these Misbahas will be delivered at labor camps. This is consistent with EEOC’s CSR approach, which seeks to empower willful individuals and encourage inclusivity.
