The role’s goal is to perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, either alone or with a technical team, in the facility’s water networks section with the least possible disruption to the company’s operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others at work.
- Can read, interpret, and describe the functionality of pump systems, pipework schematics, and system layout drawings.
- Ability to raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports, and CMMS work orders; adopt a logical or methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault finding on water networks, equipment, and systems.

Specific requirements
- High School Certificate.
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
- IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
- A current, valid UAE driving license is desirable.
