Position: System Engineer
Contract Duration: 1 Year (May be extendable)

Salary: Up to 10,000 AED

Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers and related infrastructure.
- Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Set up and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Monitor and maintain email security, user permissions, and data integrity.
- Support VMware ESX Server and deploy key VMware ESX/ESXi technologies, with expertise in HA/DRS and P2V.
- Extensive experience in VMware ESXi and VMServer Server Farms.
- Perform system administration tasks of high complexity on Windows/VMWare environments.
- Diagnose problems on ESXi hosts and create/maintain Windows server images.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of Microsoft environments.
- Implement and manage system monitoring tools.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Windows-based systems and applications.
- Respond to and resolve system outages and user issues promptly.
- Perform regular updates and patches for Windows Servers and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
- Implement and manage security measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular backups are performed and verify data integrity.
- Ensure systems comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with best practices and emerging technologies in the Microsoft ecosystem.
Technology Knowledge:
- Microsoft Environment, including Office 365
- Backup – Veritas
- VMware Virtualized environment
- Knowledge in IBM AIX is an added advantage
