Join our team as a Heavy / Light Vehicle Driver where you will play a vital role in transporting goods and/or passengers safely and efficiently. We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to fill these positions.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy or light vehicles to transport goods and/or passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as required.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and trip logs.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes promptly.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license for heavy or light vehicles (depending on the position applied for).
- Previous experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina for long hours of driving and heavy lifting (for heavy vehicle drivers).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
