Job Opportunity: Accountant at Florius Flowers
Florius Flowers, a renowned company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee cash management.
- Monitor and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Handle ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of UAE taxation and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
