Your Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management:

  • Source and procure structural steel, accessories, and fabrication materials
  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing for PEB projects
  • Coordinate timely delivery to meet production schedules
  • Manage supplier relationships and vendor negotiations

Quotation and Analysis:

  • Obtain competitive quotations for steel coils, plates, bolts, paint, and welding materials
  • Compare supplier offers and prepare detailed comparison sheets
  • Analyze market prices and recommend best purchasing decisions
  • Review supplier terms and conditions

Purchase Order Processing:

  • Create accurate Purchase Orders based on approved BOQs and technical drawings
  • Follow up on supplier documentation including test certificates and mill reports
  • Track invoice processing and payment coordination
  • Ensure all procurement follows company procedures

Coordination and Communication:

  • Work closely with Finance team for payment processing via LCs and international suppliers
  • Coordinate with stores, production, and logistics teams
  • Monitor delivery timelines and supplier performance
  • Maintain communication with local vendors for timely material release

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain detailed procurement logs and steel grade records
  • Update order tracking sheets and material cost registers
  • Ensure compliance with safety and HSE protocols
  • Handle material storage documentation

What We’re Looking For

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fresh graduates welcome)
  • Alternative: Any graduate degree with minimum 2 years procurement experience
  • Preference for technical background in construction materials

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with ERP procurement modules
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding of construction materials and specifications
  • Knowledge of international procurement processes

Language Skills:
