Job Description:

We seek a highly experienced Structural Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi, UAE team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience working with the Abu Dhabi Municipality. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our construction projects. Your expertise will be essential in providing innovative solutions and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct structural analysis and design for various construction projects.
2. Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and reports.
3. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations, especially those of the Abu Dhabi Municipality.
4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and efficient structural solutions.
5. Perform site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and provide recommendations for improvements.
6. Review and approve structural engineering documentation.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Engineer with a proven track record of working on projects within Abu Dhabi Municipality.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• A professional engineering license is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
