The role’s goal is to perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, either alone or with a technical team, in the facility’s water networks section with the least possible disruption to the company’s operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others at work.
• Can read, interpret, and describe the functionality of pump systems, pipework schematics, and system layout drawings.
• Ability to raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports, and CMMS work orders; adopt a logical or methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault finding on water networks, equipment, and systems.

• Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures, and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.
• Ensure the security and integrity of all data provided, including reporting performance, finance, and customer information, and reference Serco’s non-disclosure policy.

Specific requirements

• High School Certificate.
• Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
• IOSH Working Safely Certificate or equivalent.
• A current, valid UAE driving license is desirable.
