Job Opportunity: Accountant at Florius Flowers

Florius Flowers, a renowned company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations and oversee cash management.
• Monitor and manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Handle ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of UAE taxation and regulatory requirements is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
