Job Title: Warehouse Helper

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Helper. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organizing inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving and unloading incoming shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders.
• Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Assist in picking and packing orders for shipment, accurately selecting the correct items and quantities.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed (training provided).
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet delivery deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
