The role’s goal is to perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, either alone or with a technical team, in the facility’s water networks section with the least possible disruption to the company’s operations.

Key Accountabilities

Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements at all times to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of oneself and others at work.

Can read, interpret, and describe the functionality of pump systems, pipework schematics, and system layout drawings.

Ability to raise and complete PMS fault report sheets, daily utilization reports, and CMMS work orders; adopt a logical or methodical approach to troubleshooting and fault finding on water networks, equipment, and systems.

Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures, and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards.

Ensure the security and integrity of all data provided, including reporting performance, finance, and customer information, and reference Serco’s non-disclosure policy.
